Mae’s Festival was held on Saturday, May 21 at RLM Farm on 5300 East Tower Road. The festival was held to serve both as a way to bring awareness to small farms that provide food when stores are running low, and to serve as a celebration of life for Mae Lidberg.

RLM Farm is located on 40 acres and is a second-generation farmstead that produces eggs, chickens, pork, beef, turkey, quail and honey. Lindberg helped around the farm until her sudden death in December of 2020.

“She was such a big part of the farm and we want to honor her in a way that she would have loved,” said Tammy Ross, Liberg’s daughter. “We also want to make people aware that there are many small farms that are available to provide food when the stores are running low.”

A variety of entertainment and activities will be available at the festival including a live band, pony rides with New Life Trail Ministries, a bounce house, corn pit, egg toss, a sack race, Chuck Wagon, the FFA from Ponca City, craft vendors, food vendors, and a pie eating contest.

Lidberg’s family expect to continue the festival annually.
