Kildare Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched by 911 to a brush fire Friday afternoon, November 19, 2021. The location of the fire was in the 1600 East Coleman Road mile, east of the Grace Tabernacle of Praise church, on the north side of the road. It is believed the fire was started by a downed power line, and Ponca City Electric was onsite. With winds around 16 miles per hour Travis Harris, Kildare Volunteer Fire Department Chief said, “This fire is by accident, but with the wind conditions please be careful.” (Photo by Darlene Engelking)
