Kay County District 1 employees were busy Monday, August 2 cleaning out a ditch to get better water drainage on N. Rock Cliff Rd., south of Highway 11 (Kaw City Highway), east of Ponca City. Mike, the trackhoe operator, will be placing a culvert pipe at a gate location for access to the property. With the culvert pipe in place, water will run to the highway ditch instead of running across the road taking the gravel to the creek.
