Rikki’s Market will be holding a Community Outreach Fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money for the church, Broken Heart Ministries, and the funds will go to repairing the roof at the historical church located at 1029 S. 12th St. in Ponca City.

“We finished the first phase of the remodeling and cleanup of our historical church, the next phase is the roof. Rikki Denton and her husband of Rikki’s Market wanted to help us get this roof replaced and wanted the money to stay in the community. They will provide the meat, buns, condiments, chips and it will be a great time to socialize and get donations towards the roof,” said Broken Heart Ministries Pastor Roderick Lewis.

“We have already spoken with a local roofing company and our goal is to get to $15,000 for the roof. We are trying to get as close as we can to this amount and not sure how much money we will raise with this fundraiser, but we will try to get close to that amount and anything and everythingwill help!” added Pastor Lewis.

Once a donation is made at Rikki’s Market, you will then receive a free burger, chips and a drink (while supplies last). Rikki’s Market is located at 2309 Lake Rd. in Ponca City. So come out this Saturday, Sept. 26th and help support and rebuild this local historical church.
