1 Million Cups is a free monthly program that was developed by the Kauffman Foundation that allows entrepreneurs, innovators, funders and other community members to get together on the notion that entrepreneurs can network and discover business solutions over a cup of coffee.

Meetings are on the first Wednesday of every month at Pioneer Technology Center in the Seminar Center. The model is the same for 1 Million Cups in every city the meetings take place in. Lasting from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with a business owner/ founder presenting for eight minutes, followed then by a 20-minute question and answer session with the audience.

“We are fortunate at Pioneer Technology Center to be a participant of the Kaufman Foundation because they do so much to support start up businesses all over the country,” said Dr. Robert Howard, Small Business and Incubator Manager at PTC.

The next meeting of 1 Million Cups is January 6th.
