Sylvia Lavonne Dawe of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died early Thursday morning, December 26, 2019, at her daughter’s home at the age of 101 years.

Sylvia Lavonne Dawe was born on August 31, 1918, in Moreland, Oklahoma, to Roy Arthur and Rachel Anna (Williams) Plumlee.

She moved with her family to Kay County where she graduated from Tonkawa High School in 1936.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 31st in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with James W. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Memorials have been established in her honor with the First Baptist Church or Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
