The COVID-19 virus has hit communities hard. Ponca City is no exception. Ponca City Monthly and MyMediaMatters have created a special online location for consumers to find information about how to shop and support small businesses online in Ponca City.
Kelsey Wagner said, “We are being tested in ways we never thought possible. At this time, our small businesses need our support more than ever and we want to do everything we can to help.”
“We want to encourage businesses to submit daily or weekly updates regarding special lobby hours, delivery or carry out instructions, gift card availability or online shopping options. We encourage you to browse this website and support these businesses.”
The website, shopponcacityonline.com, offers food delivery options from The Running Chef, Door Dash, Instacart and even someone that will drive to order to provide personal and online pickup services.
The Running Chef currently offers food options from KFC, Taco Stop, Jim’s Jumbo Burger, Dixie Dog, Danny’s BBQ Headquarters, Ground Round, The Perk, Lakeside Grill, Ponca City Country Club and Astoria Blvd. Bistro and Bar.
Door Dash offers food options from McDonalds, Chili’s, Arby’s, JW Cobbs, Rib Crib, Little Caesars, Garrett Wranglers, Frazier’s, Subway, Perkins, Wendy’s, Marco’s Pizza and Schlotzsky’s.
Instacart offers groceries from Aldi’s.
Debb Sharp is offering a DTO (Drive to Order) service. DTO does pickup orders from Costco and Sam’s on a weekly basis. They sell paper goods and have a storage with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, paper plates, etc. They can be reached by calling 716-6740.
Those on the website can also view business services from stores still open, clothing and retail and pharmacy.
To submit your information for your business, visit the website and click on the Submit Your Information icon at the top of the page.
