Pets of the Week

Body
Taffy, a 8 year old domestic shorthair, has made this week’s Cat of the Week because of her amazing personality. Though she is gorgeous, what really draws people in about Taffy is her good natured attitude. Because of her age, she is on the calmer side, but she is still full of spunk. As shown in the picture above, Taffy loves to play and is especially enamored with the interactive ball that spins around on this particular toy. She is incredibly sweet and loving and is very interested in being a lap companion. She is currently in a cat room with three other cats and has no problem with them and is even outgoing enough to try to interact with them, even when they are less than enthusiastic about her. Taffy is very treat motivated as well, which makes her more inclined to pay attention to people. Just like her name suggests, Taffy is as sweet as candy and is likely to give you cavities with the amount of sugar she gives.

I usually strive to make things coincide with anniversaries, release dates or news about a given subject, but I’ve also indulged my own desires to write about something that I want to write about.

Fruits and Vegetables to Your Health

Body
This is National Fruits & Veggies Month -- a great time to boost your intake and improve your health at the same time. Collectively, fruits and vegetables give a boost to our minds, our bodies and our souls. While we often single out certain ones as superfoods -- blueberries, strawberries, pomegranates, broccoli -- in reality, a healthy diet needs variety from all different kinds of fruits and vegetables.
