Ponca City Development Authority (PCDA) held the fourth annual Business Plan Pitch-off Thursday, June 4 at City Central. Four businesses pitched to five judges, vying for an incentive package in excess of $5000.00.

The highest scorer in the competition was Aesthetic State of Mind, a new medspa clinic which will open this summer in downtown Ponca City.

Pitch-ers included Paul’s Food Products, CORETeam Solutions, Immersive Technology Group and Aesthetic State of Mind.

All businesses pitching had to submit a less than 20 page full business plan the week before to qualify to pitch for the incentives package.

“This is a great way to anchor businesses to the Ponca City community,” said David Myers, PCDA Executive Director. “This Pitch-off allows all types of business start-ups to get feedback from the judges and if they are very effective, a nice incentive package including funding and business assistance from PCDA, The Chamber of Commerce and Pioneer Technology Center Business Services.”

Congratulations to all the businesses who participated. PCDA hosts this Business Plan Pitch-off each year in April.

Pitch-off 2020 was postponed until June due to COVID-19.
