Grace Episcopal Church announces that the Rev. Caleb Roberts will be the new rector. Father Roberts comes to us having recently completed his curacy at Emmanuel Memorial Episcopal Church in Champaign, Illinois. Prior to that, he received his Master of Divinity from the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas.

As a native Oklahoman, Father Roberts is glad to be returning to the Diocese of Oklahoma where he began discerning a call to the priesthood at All Souls’ Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City.

He, along with his wife, Julie, and children, Alice, Charles, and Clive, are busy getting settled in their new home here in Ponca City.

It is fitting that Father Roberts’ first Sunday to celebrate the mass at Grace Church will be just a week after the Episcopal churches across the Diocese of Oklahoma will have returned to worship together in-person for the first time since the shutdown.

Please join us in welcoming Father Roberts at his first mass as the new rector of Grace Episcopal Church. The service will be Sunday, June 21 beginning at 10 a.m. at our church which is located at 109 N. 13th Street on the northwest corner of 14th and Grand Ave.
