Full Sail Capital has hired Certified Public Accountant Stacy Murray to its growing team of seasoned professionals dedicated to helping individuals and families manage and grow financial assets for future generations.

“We’re excited to bring Stacy on board,” said David Stanley, Full Sail Capital’s chief executive officer. “She’s a hardworking, native Oklahoman with solid academic achievements and extensive professional experience. She’ll be a perfect fit for our team and our clients.”

Murray graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University’s College of Business Administration in May 2007, completing her work in the honors college, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Academic recognition included the General Honors Award and the College Honors Award. In December 2007, she completed her master’s degree in accounting from OSU. Again, achieving summa cum laude distinction.

Murray began her career in 2008 with KPMG, a Big Four international accounting firm, and she worked with financial service industry clients ranging from large corporations to family-owned companies. While at KPMG, she was promoted to audit manager in 2013 and senior audit manager in 2015, serving clients in fields such as asset management, insurance, healthcare, restaurants, and oil and gas. Murray also has served KPMG as a national instructor, and she was a member of KNOW, KPMG’s Network of Women.

“I’m passionate about accounting, and I love helping clients manage their assets and reach their financial goals,” Murray said. “Full Sail is dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives, and I’m excited to be part of that.”

Born and raised in Ponca City, Murray loves the outdoors, snow skiing and four wheeling in the mountains. She also enjoys golfing and family time at the lake with her husband, two children and their Golden Retriever. She returns to Ponca City from time to time to help her parents with their cattle.

Murray is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and she serves on the Audit Committee for Infant Crisis Services. She and her family are parishioners of Christ the King Catholic Church in Nichols Hills.
