Two directors of the Poncan Theatre will be entertaining with the Poncan Jubilee. Christopher Radaker-James is the current director and Dave May, former director, are joining the show to promote the Poncan. The show is on Friday, April 30th at 7:00 p.m. This is a fund-raiser for the Poncan and all performers are donating their talent for this worthy course. Tickets are $15.00 adult and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets are now on sale at the Poncan Theatre and online and at the Chamber of Commerce. Dave May no longer lives

Dave May no longer lives in Ponca City, but Ponca City will always be his hometown in his heart. Dave is a 1979 graduate of Ponca City High School. Dave is very excited to be involved in the show at the Poncan Theatre. He was involved in helping raise funds to restore the Poncan when he was the morning DJ on WBBZ more than a couple decades ago. In those efforts he helped create a telethon and live broadcast from the stage of the Poncan to spark interest and gather donations to restore the then closed theater. Later in his career, Dave was proud to serve as the Executive Director of the Poncan Theatre while also being the morning DJ for KLOR. During that time TEAM Radio moved their offices and the studios of KLOR and KPNC into the Poncan. Perhaps at heart Dave is a true vaudevillian for not only does he love the Poncan Theatre, once a home to vaudeville, but Dave also is an accomplished ventriloquist. Ventriloquism is of course one of the art forms that flourished during vaudeville's heyday. Dave has performed as a ventriloquist throughout the Midwest. He will be returning to the stage of the Poncan along with his ventriloquial pal Andy. During Dave's time at the Poncan he produced a live kid's show seen on local cable "Andy's Wacky World", so this performance is a homecoming of sorts for both Dave and Andy! Dave and his wife Lori now call Council Grove, KS home.

Christopher Radaker-James has worked professionally in theatre for more than a decade. While obtaining his degree in musical theatre from Belmont University, he started work as an actor at Chaffin’s Dinner Theatre. Christopher has performed professionally in Williamsburg, Virginia and Branson, Missouri. He is now executive director of the Poncan Theatre.
