Bob and Verna Craig celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 5, 2020. Bob and Verna were married on June 5, 1960 at Quayle Memorial Methodist Church in Kansas City, KS. They began their life together in Corpus Christi, TX and later moved to Dallas, TX, then back to Kansas City, KS. They moved to Ponca City on August 1, 1973.

Bob served in the U. S. Navy 1958-1962. In December 1962, he began working for Conoco in Kansas City, MO and was transferred to Ponca City in August 1973. He retired from Conoco in June 1994. He was active in coaching sports and refereeing soccer as well as teaching Bible studies in their home for many years.

Verna volunteered and ran many church activities and Bible studies while being a homemaker. In 1986 she returned to work outside the home. She was employed by Capshaw Agency from 1998 to 2002 when they merged with Coldwell Banker Heritage Realtors. She continued full-time with them until April 2019 when she transferred to part-time. Their church home is Ponca City Assembly.

Their children are Rod Craig of Ponca City; Holly Tumpkin and husband, Steve, of Broken Arrow, OK; and Heather Craig of Gainesville, VA.

They have six grandchildren: Dalton Craig, Dallas Craig and Dakota Craig with fiancée Sydnie Scott of Ponca City; Jadyn Winn and husband, JaMes, of Broken Arrow, OK; Lauryn Tumpkin of New York City; Taya Autaubo and husband Josh, of Broken Arrow, OK.

They have four greatgrandchildren with another due in September 2020: Nala Jane Winn and Judah Will Winn of Broken Arrow; Rhett Wrangler Craig of Ponca City; and Esther Rey Autaubo of Broken Arrow.

The family anniversary celebration was held on the evening of June 5 at The Perk.
