Dale and Carol DeWitt of Braman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 25. They plan on having a patio party with family.

Dale Ray DeWitt and the former Carol Rosanne Grell were married May 25, 1970, at the First Baptist Church in Braman with the late Rev. Paul Hudson officiating.

Dale was a buyer for John Merrill Packing Co., an agriculture teacher for 30 years, an Oklahoma State Representative for 13 years and continues to farm and ranch.

Carol is a retired cosmetologist of 38 years who owned and operated Carol’s Co. and now enjoys being a farm wife.

They have two children, Garrett of Ca. and Camille Holt and husband Barclay of Shattuck. They have five grandchildren: Drake, Daelyn, Logan, Kaylee and Bryan.
