The Braman United Methodist Church will hold its annual Thanksgiving Bazzar and Auction November, 4. It will be somewhat different this year. We will have 3 different dining options. We will be serving in person dining, carry out line or if you do not feel comfortable coming in, call 580- 385-2146 or simply drive to the church and we will take your order and bring it to your vehicle. There will be masks available if needed.

There will be numerous craft, pies, rolls, breads, jellies and many other items for sale in the foyer.

Dinner will be served from 4 to 7 which includes turkey, briskey, dressing, potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, homemade pies, rolls, coffee, and tea. The cost will be &7.00 for adults, $3.00 for children 4 through 11, with children under 4 free.

The quilting group is again ready for the auction. We have a special quilt this year. Grandmothers Flowers Garden (80x90) is not only hand quilted but it is also hand pieced. The beautiful flowers are surrounded by white. Bouquet of Roses (96x 96) is a cross stitch creation of pink roses accented with greenery and it is also hand quilted. Coffee Mosaic (80x90) is several shades of browns, creams and bordered with tan and is hand quilted.

There will be a special braman Memories quilt (56x78) that will bring back many memories of all the wonderful times we all had in the community. It is hand quilted as are the following. Maple Leaf (73x73) donated by Janet Reser in honor of Eloise Reser, her Mother in law. Eloise started the yellow and brown quilt and the group finished it. There will be an antique postage stamp quilt (72x72) made with fabric from the early 30’s. It is bordered with royal blue.

There are several machine quilted throws--Bow Ties donated by Janet Reser also started by Eloise Reser and finished by the group, Playful Goats surrounded by green, yellow, orange, and white. Purple Heart surrounded by various shades of purple, Black White and read all over Newsprint accented with red and a Red and Black crocheted throw.

The Auction begins at 7 so come and join in the fun. Kris Maple and Doyle Steffen will be in charge of Auction.
