Blackwell Animal Shelter Spotlight The gorgeous girl you see here is Dixi and she is Blackwell Animal Shelter’s longest resident. Dixi has been with the Blackwell Animal Shelter approaching 40 days and deserves a new start on life. As a baby, Dixi was brought in as an owner surrender to no fault of her own. She is currently only 5 months old so she is still very much a puppy. She is rambunctious and has a lot of energy, but she does incredibly well with other animals, cats included. Dixi is now learning how to walk on a leash and is doing great at learning potty training. She is fully vetted and microchipped and is just waiting for her forever family to come pick her up.
