Wildcat of the Week

Body
The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the Week #22 for the 2022-2023 school year was presented to Po-Hi senior Lindy Fisher. PCPS Superintendent Shelley Arrott said, “Lindy exemplifies the qualifies of an ideal student not only in academics but in her activities as well. She is a four-year varsity soccer team member, has been a manager for the Wildcat football team for four years, is a member of Youth Traffic Court, and National Honor Society. In addition, she is a four-year member of the Ponca City FFA Chapter and is currently serving as chapter president. Through the internship program, Lindy works at the Wildcat Ag Farm and spends hours each day tending to whatever chore is needed. She is also getting a jump start on her post-secondary education through concurrent enrollment with NOC at the University Center. More importantly, Lindy is a loyal and supportive friend. We all go through ups and downs in our life, and Lindy is that friend who steps up to lend a listening ear, help, or just be a companion for friends who are struggling. She makes everyone feel included and valued.”
