The state Senate on Monday advanced legislation aimed at increasing the anonymity of producers who sell homemade foods. House Bill 2975 would allow homemade food producers to pay $15 to obtain a registration number from the Department of Agriculture that could be used on a product.
TULSA -- Bishop Kelley started off in a big way Monday and eased its way to a 13-6 victory over the Ponca City Wildcats. Kelley scored four runs in the first, two in the second and three in the third to lead 9-1.
The 2024 Masters has come and gone. I started watching with an interest to see how well Tiger Woods was doing. I really didn’t care who won this year’s event, but thought it would be fun to have Tiger playing well after all his physical problems.
During this past weekend, the Kay County Youth Pageants held their Gem of the Chikaskia Renaissance Festival in Blackwell. This Renaissance Festival was held at the Memorial Park, located at 1400 S Main, and brought a new form of entertainment to the people of Kay County.
