The Ponca City Police Department wants to remind citizens to be hyper vigilant about scams. The only change happening in this area is that there are more scams going on. “In the midst of all that is going on, and the fear that people have of the unknown, those who prey on others are seeing opportunity. These unscrupulous people are just upping their game and working harder to take advantage of others,” said Chief Don Bohon.

Vandalism — At 8:36 a.m. Tuesday a subject in the 400 block of South Perry advised a residence had been broken into and vandalized. An officer responded and advised there were no signs of forced entry and the door was open due to the wind. No report was taken. —————
