Minyon’s four rbi’s leads NOC past NWOSU JV

ALVA, Oklahoma – Matt Minyon homered and doubled leading Northern Oklahoma College to a 13-1 win over NWOSU JV Wednesday afternoon.

NOC’s win earned a split as the Mavs dropped the first game 5-4.

In Game 2, the Mavs scored all their runs in the first three innings coasting to the 13-1 win.

Minyon had three hits and four runs batted in while Barrett Rose had two hits and two runs batted in. Holden Bartosovsky, Bryant Bailey, and Hayden Priest each had two runs batted in.

Zach Stephenson allowed one unearned run in three innings of work. He allowed no hits and struck out two.

In Game 1, The Rangers scored two runs in the seventh to win 5-4.

Minyon had three hits for NOC while Levi Haueter added two. Hayden Priest homered driving in two runs.

Luke Livian, Jackson Robinson, and Chase DeFillippo worked off the mound for the Mavs.

The 25th ranked Mavs (25-13) travel to National Park (AR) for doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday.
