The Newkirk High School girls coaching staff consisting of Megan Schieber and Morgan Marks, along with the girl’s high school team, will be hosting a girls basketball camp. The camp will focus on the fundamentals of basketball such as passing and receiving, stationary dribbling, dribbling moves, shooting form and defense.

The cam will be held June 24-26 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for incoming second through fifth graders at the high school gym. The cost is $30 per camper (includes a T-shirt). The money is due the first day of the camp, cash only. Campers will be divid

Campers will be divided into divisions based on grade level and skills. Camp competitions will be held and awards given for each division.

All campers should wear a T-shirt, athletic shorts, socks and clean basketball shoes that they will not walk outside in for the three days of camp. Clean shoes are imperative on the new gym floor.
