Oaklyn Shay Farias, precious baby girl of Brooklyn Monks and Octavio Farias, was born into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on July 17, 2020, at 7:32P.M. at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Born at 34 ½ weeks, Oaklyn weighed 3lbs 2 oz. and was 16 inches long. Oaklyn has her daddy’s dark black hair and her momma’s cute button nose. Mommy, Daddy, and DiDi were blessed to have gotten to spend quality time holding, loving, and admiring Oaklyn during her time at OU Children’s Hospital. Although we will never get to watch Oaklyn grow up and live her life, we are comforted by the fact that she is safe in the arms of Jesus and sitting on Papa Johnny’s lap hearing funny stories about her momma and enjoying stories from Aunt Lou reading Little Nutbrown Hare Tales and Jake Tales like she used to around the campfire. “ I carried you every second of your life, and I will love you for the rest of mine!”
