Longtime resident Margie N. Phillips passed away at the age of 81. Born November 6th, 1940 to Thomas and Lola Sneed in Pawnee County. She received her education in Pawnee, Glencoe, and Ponca City Schools. She was married to R. Steve Phillips on August 31st, 1975.

Margie was employed with Dr. John F. DeJarnette Jr., M.D. for 20 years and also by Doctors’ Park of Ponca City LLC for 32 years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her husband Steve, son Randall Merciez and wife DeAnn, grandchildren Bridgett Kiefer, Leah and husband Daniel Willis, Stefan and wife Sarah Merciez, and great grandchildren Elijah Merciez, Chloe Merciez, Kaegan Kiefer, Katarina Keifer, Kai Keifer and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margie was preceded in death by her father Thomas Sneed, mother Lola Zemp, brothers Thomas E. Sneed and Everett R. Sneed. Her sisters Maxine Anderson, Ruth Sharp, and Zelma Cauthon.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 27th, 2022, 2 p.m., at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Online guest registry is available at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
