Mae Musgrove left her worldly home January 11, 2021 to reunite and celebrate with C.L. and other loved family and friends in her heavenly home. In Lee County, Rose Hill, Virginia, on October 31, 1935, Oma Mae Musgrove was brought into this world by Dewey and Ruby Thomas.

Mae and C.L. Musgrove, Jr. were married December 18, 1954 in Rose Hill, Virginia. They celebrated 53 years of marriage before his death in 2008. C.L. and Mae moved from Borger, Texas to Shidler, Oklahoma with their three daughters September 9, 1963. Mae spent most of her life as a homemaker. She worked for the Shidler Review typing and putting the weekly newspaper together. She worked at the Senior Citizens Center as a Bookkeeper and Treasurer for 21 years. In 2003 Mae was awarded the Senior Citizen of the Year.

Mae enjoyed attending her children and grand children’s sporting events, piano recitals, dance recitals and church events.

Mae is survived by three daughters: Linda and Jim Kennedy of Aztec, New Mexico, Lisa and Larry Patton of Shidler, Oklahoma and Anita and Lyle Coe of Jacksonville, Florida, one brother, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, and one great grandchild.
