Anna Mae Radcliff, of Blackwell, OK passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness the evening of March 23, 2020.

She was born on April 20, 1919 in Perry, OK, the youngest of fourteen children of William Arthur McDaniel and Atha Cemira (Howe) McDaniel.

She married Loris Radcliff on June 30, 1937 in Blackwell, OK. She treasured the hat she wore and still had it to this day.

She worked for Hot Shot Taxi Company, and Rivoli Theater Box Office, More Burger and became a Home Healthcare Provider for the Kay County Health Department.

Her greatest joy was her family. She loved our Sunday Evening Family Dinners. She loved listening to the great grandchildren’s adventures, especially her Sunday talks with Todd. She loved when the kids pestered her, and they could always get lots of laughs and “oh my word”. She enjoyed her time with her extra girls especially Quinley Rigdon, she always had some story to tell about her, she was a real light in her life. She tried very hard to stay up to date on world events, politics and that’s on the computer. She had recently discovered “Googling and made Googling her and Carolyn Schatz evening activity. She loved playing card and marbles with the girls and Landon but would get her feelings hurt when they didn’t let her win.

In earlier years she enjoyed road trips, camping and blue grass festivals. She would attend weekend dances with her best friends the “Golden Girls”. She played bridge and loved hosting and making snacks for her friends. She enjoyed sewing and made many outfits and costumes for her grandchildren. She was an active member of the First Christian Church Women’s Group. One of her best trips was to The Holy Land. One of her worst trips was to Branson where she fell and broke her leg at a show, and Dan had to go retrieve her. She was a a Lifetime Member of the Top of Oklahoma Society and spent many hours volunteering at the museum.

She was greeted at the gates of heaven by her husband Loris, sons Loris Paul and Gary Dean, granddaughter Kelli Feltis and all of her siblings, what a reunion that must have been.

Family left to grieve her loss, her pride and joy, her son Daniel Lee Radcliff of Ponca City, OK.
