Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) hosted their Business and Industry Breakfast in the morning on Friday, March 15 to meet with various media and IT workers around the community. Cyber attacks, hacking scams, and ransomware are some of the myriad of threats to one’s valuable and sensitive information in the digital age.

March 10, 2024 Fight in Progress - At 1:29 am, multiple people were fighting at 601 W. Highland. Officer took information on an assault and battery on a bouncer. All the problem halves were gone upon arrival.

Lawmakers advance bills cracking down on ballot initiatives, ranked choice voting

During a hectic deadline week that featured hours of debate and floor sessions extending well past regular business hours, several proposals affecting Oklahoma voters cleared the Legislature. House Bill 1105, which would increase the legal challenge period for initiative petitions from 10 to 90 days, require circulators to pay $50 each for an OSBI background check and implement a refundable $1,000 filing fee, cleared the House on a mostly party-line vote.
