RIBBON CUTTING AND OPEN HOUSE FOR THE NEW PONCA CITY POLICE STATION The City of Ponca City and the Ponca City Police Department will have a Ribbon Cutting and Open House for the new Ponca City Police Station, on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ribbon Cutting will be at 2:00 p.m. followed by the Open House. The new Police Station, located at 300 E. Oklahoma Avenue, will be open for the public to enjoy comeand- go tours of the facility.

PTC receives donation from the Kaw Nation

Ponca City, OK ---------The Kaw Nation donated a 2014 Dodge Truck to the Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) Criminal Justice Program. This program trains the next generation of law enforcement professionals and the vehicle will provide students with invaluable hands-on experience in various aspects of training. Students will gain knowledge in traffic management, accident investigation, and practicing arrests.

On August 3, The Harvest Hall and local specialty cut flower farm, Sown, are set to collaborate on a ‘Build Your Own Bouquet Bar.’ For only $35 a ticket, those in attendance will have the opportunity to create a bouquet of 20 to 25 of their favorite flowers. This event will provide the people of Ponca City with beautiful and locally grown flowers and everything else needed to create a bouquet.
