An accident occurred at 4:27 p.m. on Friday Dec. 4. The two vehicle accident happened in front of Bintz Pharmacy. The silver vehicle (Unit 1) attempted to turn out of the parking lot to go southbound on 14th St. The witness vehicle was in the outside northbound lane and slowed down to wave the silver vehicle out of the parking lot.

The green jeep (Unit 2) was traveling northbound and went past the witness vehicle as Unit 1 pulled out of the parking lot. The two vehicles collided.

After impact, Unit 2 traveled approximately 64 feet further before rolling one half time and landing on its top.

Driver of Unit 2 was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extracted by Ponca City EMS.

Unit 1 had disabling front end damage. Unit 2 suffered total damage due to the roll.

Unit 2 driver was transported to AllianceHealth Ponca City ER with minor injuries.
