The Ponca City Board of Commissioners will hold their regular session meeting at City Hall located at 516 E. Grand Ave in downtown Ponca City on Monday, Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m.

All items on the consent agenda are not discussed and any member of the governing body desiring to discuss an item on the consent agenda may request that it be removed and placed on the regular agenda. It will then be considered at that time.

The City Manager’s Report will follow and next to be discussed will be New Business. Items under the New Business portion of the meeting include considering and voting upon submitting an application for the Community Development Block Grant Program to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce For Coronavirus Response(CDBG-CV) funding in the amount of $612,680.00 and executing a resolution in support of this application.

Other items under the New Business category include the consideration and vote upon a resolution by the Board of Commissioners of the city of Ponca City to affirm the city’s commitment to take all action within its power to facilitate the receipt of assistance of the Community Development Block Grant-CV Funds if the city of Ponca City is awarded this grant from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

Lastly, there will be a discussion upon authorizing to advertise for bids for street improvement projects including the concrete pavement reconstruction on Prospect Avenue to 14th street to 350 feet West, project No. SST 21-5 and the Third street South 100 block East side and Fourth street North 100 block West side, project No. SST 20-5 street improvement projects.

Immediately following the regular session meeting, will be the Ponca City Utility Authority regular meeting.
