At their monthly meeting in February, the Ponca City Development Authority (PCDA) Trustees voted unanimously to approve an agreement with Oklahoma Labels to provide an incentive for the company to expand and add jobs.

Chad and Paige Winslow, owners of Oklahoma Labels, started the business after acquiring A Plus printing in 2018. Seeing a need for a regional label printing, Winslow purchased the equipment necessary to do large batches of custom labels. Branding this separate business as Oklahoma Labels, Winslow prints the labels for companies largely outside of Ponca City. This business has expanded since 2018 to now include a new facility, equipment, and employees.

Over the course of this 4 year agreement there will be a projected economic impact of $752,426. The company has the potential to receive up to $20,000 in incentives based upon job growth and wages paid. PCDA Executive Director David Myers said, “By expanding into manufacturing for customers outside of our area, Oklahoma Labels will bring dollars back into Ponca City that will spread among other businesses as their employees buy products and services from local businesses. This is the type of project that PCDA loves to see.”
