In honor of National 4-H Week October 3-9 and Oklahoma 4-H Month the Blackwell OK-Okies 4-H Club were blessed to have a guest speaker at the October monthly meeting. Becky with Bev’s Flower Heaven in Blackwell came to the meeting to demonstrate how to make flower arrangements. She also shared valuable information with the club members about how to prep and care for fresh cut flowers. Blackwell OK Okies 4-H Club members also delivered cookies to Kay Electric, City of Blackwell, the Museum, and the Police and Fire Departments in Honor of National 4-H Week and Oklahoma 4-H Month. Blackwell OK-Okies 4-H Club meets the first Tuesday of each month with the Cloverbuds (ages 5-7) at 6:00 p.m. and the regular meeting (ages 8 years old, 3 grade and up) at 7:00 p.m. at the Kay Room, Blackwell, Oklahoma.
