Teaching With Your Higher Power is the title of a new book by Kenny James a local counselor in Ponca City. Due to the current pandemic a traditional book signing will not be scheduled.

However, signed copies of the book will be available at Brace Books and More on Saturday, October 10th from 1:00—4:00 p.m.

“The book is designed for teachers, but anyone can benefit from reading it, says James, because we are all teachers whether we realize it or not.” I dedicated the book to my wife Terri, who is in her 39th year of teaching public school. When asked why he wrote the book, James explained: Teaching is hard. Teaching is important! I think it is important for everyone to have a close relationship with their Higher Power, especially teachers.” The 10-chapter book has 130 pages and can be read in a little over an hour. It outlines a step by step process of spiritual growth and corresponding principles and answers questions like:
