Kay County fourth in state

The number of positive COVID-19 tests in Kay County is now at 17. That is an increase of six people from the day before. Kay County remains the fourth highest county in the state with its number of positive cases.

The highest county in Oklahoma with the most positive tests is Oklahoma County with 94. That is fol lowed by Tulsa County with 49 and Cleveland County with 39.

Some of the other highest positive cases in Oklahoma are Creek and Pawnee counties with 14 and Canadian County with 11.

As of Friday afternoon the number of positive COVID-19 tests in Oklahoma increased by another 74 people from Thursday. There are now 322 cases.

An additional death was reported, a male in his 70s in Creek County. That brings the death toll in Oklahoma to eight. An additional 105 people are now hospitalized.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is evaluating the data obtained from the satellite testing sites and will continue to provide updates on the progress of additional sites opening in the coming days.
