PONCA CITY, OKLAHOMA-The Doodle Academy will present The Makin’ Market, taking place on Grand Avenue in Downtown Ponca City. The hours will be from 1:00-4:00 every Saturday from Oct 10th until Christmas. It will feature artists, performance artists, crafters, bakers, and a plethora of other hand-made creations from our community.

The Doodle Academy is proud to bring The Makin’ Market to downtown Ponca City for the first time. The Makin’ Market will provide citizens to come out and purchase handmade creations as well as become inspired by the creativity and passionate people in our community.

The event is free to the public and social distancing measures will be encouraged to provide a safe and inclusive experience for everyone in Ponca City and surrounding areas.

Each week The Makin’ Market will be partnering with a local non-profit to help them fundraise. We will have an artist performing live as entertainment every Saturday and all donations given for their performance will be given to the chosen non-profit.

Saturday, October 10th The Makin’ Market will be partnered with The Pioneer Woman Museum. A live pottery on the wheel experience will be provided by Alena Jennings owner of The Doodle Academy. The activity will be performed live as well as streamed over Facebook social media. Please consider donating in support of The Pioneer Woman Museum.

Vendors are welcome to apply at www.thedoodleacademy.com No booth fee is required. The Doodle Academy simply encourages a $5 donation and all funds will be used to advertise the event.
