Burbank First Baptist Church News

Body
Burbank First Baptist Church faces the same challenges that many other churches face today. How do churches get families interested and excited about worshiping the Lord? Families are looking for a place to worship where they are loved and accepted. Opportunities for fellowship seem to always draw people to any event that is planned. As a Pastor, I have noticed there are different ways of praise and worship that attracts. Some like the traditional format of singing from hymnbooks. Others, appear to like praise bands with music that is prompted on video screens. This normally involves some sort of active participation from the audience. Is there a right or wrong way to worship? It all depends on whether you actually feel like you are entering a time of true worship and praise for what God can and will do in your life. When new families come to churches that I have ministered in, I have shared with them to seek out a place to worship that they feel comfortable worshiping in. They need to feel loved and appreciated. If a new family comes to church they must be welcomed with open arms. We all need to understand that every one of us are sinners. Some have been saved by the grace of God. Others, are seeking how to find a way to find forgiveness an to be closer to God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I pray that you are attending a church of your choice. Do not allow excuses to keep you away. Once you find a church that shares their love of Christ, try to become a part of that body of believers. It will change your life forever.
