The 2020 Festival of Lights opened the gates on Wednesday evening at Lake Ponca- Park. This year was a little bit different than usual. Visitors stayed in their cars and drove through the park to enjoy the lights. Children were greeted on either side of the car by Santa and Mrs. Claus who handed out gloves and snacks.

The four Republican members of the delegation are calling for the release of $138 billion appropriated for the Paycheck Protection Program that brought millions back to work after they were laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When three prison inmates were infected with the coronavirus in South Korea early last spring, corrections officers responded swiftly. “Walk-thru” testing booths were installed in each of the country’s 54 prison compounds, masks were universally distributed and prisoners had visitations curtailed.
