Robert Lee Taylor II, Ponca City resident, died at his home on Friday, April 19, 2019. He was 58. No funeral services are planned at this time.
Taylor was born April 27, 1960, in Ponca City to Robert and LaRita Taylor. He was a Po-Hi Class of 1978 graduate. Five days after graduation he went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone. He was a survivor of the Oklahoma City Murray Building bombing on April 19, 1995, and then passed on the 24th anniversary of the bombing.
Survivors include his son Christopher Taylor of Oklahoma City, Ashley Taylor of Los Angeles, Calif., mother Larita Taylor of Ponca City, brother David Taylor of Oceanside, Calif, sister Cathy Williams of Conroe, Texas, one grandchild and seven nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Taylor, grandparents William and LaVone Porter, Orville and Zelma Taylor, brother Richard Wayne Taylor, four uncles and two aunts.
