The 14th Annual “Princess for a Night” Father Daughter dance has been set for February 2 at the Marland Mansion, with tickets now on sale.
This event is open to all girls ages 13 and under and their fathers and/or father-figures — including grandfathers, uncles, brothers or a male (over the age of 18) that is influential in the life of the princess.
Ponca City Father Daughter dance tickets are on sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Whimsy, located at 316 East Grand Avenue in Ponca City.
Tickets and event T-shirts are also available online. Parents and guardians are encouraged to submit their information online through the secure website at poncacitydance.com.
The ticket price is $15 each, with additional packages including apparel and a “Princess Portrait Package” also available. According to event organizers, princess portraits are an optional photo opportunity for the girls only. This will be a storybooktheme that will feature the girl alone, and time will be taken to ensure there is a good photo taken.
There will be a free portrait taken of the escort and daughter at the snowflake backdrops with three level stairs. The snowflake backdrop photo will include one free 4 x 6 print that will be available after the dance. Packages may be purchased at a later date from Photography by Jes.
The dance will again be split into three sessions due to popular demand and always overwhelming attendance. Session one from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. is for ages kindergarten and below. The 5:30 to 7 p.m. session two is for first and second graders. Session three, from 8 to 9:30 p.m., is for third through seventh graders. Note that those attending more than one session will need a separate ticket for each.
Event proceeds benefit the Opportunity Center of Ponca City programs.
