Philip Arlin Struble, age 71, died April 30, 2019, after a valiant struggle with bile duct cancer.
Phil was born Feb. 7, 1948, to parents Albert and Maxine Struble. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Sandra Leslie Struble; children April Gaddis and Buddy Struble; grandchildren Michael Gaddis, Jennifer Gaddis-Clapp, Braden Struble and Breckin Struble; great-grandchildren Hunter Gaddis, Johnie Clapp, Bryar Clapp and Eliot Struble; sisters and their spouses Pat and John McClung; Sherri and Ron Nuckols, Jody and Mike Elswick; cousin and best friend Glenn Reimer; and manyother cousins, friends and in-law family that he loved as his own. No one will miss him more than his faithful dog, Cairi.
A simple obituary, nor even a 1,000 page book, can sum up Phil, his life, his talents and the love he bestowed on his family, friends and faithful dog.
Cremation was provided by Stittsworth Funeral Services. Per Phil’s request, a private memorial will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Ponca City Hospice, Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Medical or a charity of your choice.
