With snowy conditions in the western part of the state, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s crews are continuing to treat highways and especially bridges. Crews are applying salt and sand to bridges in following the counties:
In northwest Oklahoma: Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Harper, Ellis, Woodward Alfalfa, Woods, Major;
In western Oklahoma: Roger Mills, Beckham, Custer, Harmon, Kiowa, Washita, Greer, Dewey, Blaine, Caddo, Camanche, Cotton, Murray, Grady;
In central Oklahoma: Grant, Kay, Garfield, Noble, Kingfisher, Logan, Canadian; and
In eastern Oklahoma: Okmulgee, Wagoner, Muskogee, McIntosh and Adair.
Crews will continue monitoring the weather conditions across the state and will deploy salt and sand trucks as needed. Drivers should use caution in these areas through the evening and be alert to any changes in weather conditions.
