Linda Marie King Arnold passed away at the age of 66 on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on July 2, 1951, in Ponca City, the daughter of Frank and Marie Thele King. Linda graduated from Ponca City High School in 1969 and then graduated from Northern Oklahoma College.
She married Edward Arnold on May 24, 1974 and they made their home in Ponca City. She was employed at Ponca City Nursing Home as a cook for a number of years and as a custodian at Ponca City High School for 17 years, before failing health forced her to retire.
She was very interested in all sorts of crafts but she loved to crochet, read and she loved to work jigsaw puzzles the most. She was a longtime member of Albright United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned H. King and Mr. and Mrs. Merton Thele; her father, Frank and sisters, Kay Louise Cartwright and Shari Lynn King.
She is survived by her husband, Edward and her mother, Marie.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Albright United Methodist Church with the Rev. April Coats presiding.
