Eric Todd Nutt was born on March 4, 1978, in Ponca City, to Richard Loyd and Denise Rae Brewer Nutt. He died Saturday, May 19, 2018. He was 40.
He grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1997. In 2006, he moved to Tahlequah. He married Kaylynn Renee Hubbard on Feb. 5, 2007, in Eureka Springs, Ark. They have two children.
Eric loved to go hunting and fishing and enjoyed watching any kind of sport, namely football, baseball and most of all, the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was a very social person and loved being around people. He was very friendly and outgoing and loved going to his church, New Life Worship Center, in Tahlequah. He was so grateful for his family and friends, as they were for him. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kaylynn, of Tahlequah; two daughters, Rachel Nutt and Ali Nutt, both of Tahlequah; mother, Denise Nutt, of Blackwell; sister, Megan Rawlings, of Norman; grandparents, Janice and Keith Brewer, of Blackwell; one nephew, one niece and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Clifford and Mary Nutt and aunt, Lesa Nutt.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, at Blackwell Cemetery with Kelly Coffey, pastor, officiating.
