Carl Eugene Cook, 81, of Oklahoma City; passed away on Nov. 20, 2018. Carl was born on Jan. 13, 1937 in Tahlequah, OK to Sam and Rosa Cook. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1955. He worked in finance most of his life and finally retired from Edmond Music. Carl was a member of the Oklahoma Lions Club and the Oklahoma Lions Club Boys Ranch when living in Stillwater. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and his two dogs Rocky and Chewie. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose Katherine Cook; twp daughters, Teresa (Loren) Harris and Susan Schneberger; three grandchildren, Lindsey Harris, Jay Harris and Blake Schneberger; brother, Bill (Judy) Cook, Sr. of ,Carson City, Nev.; sister, Betty (David) Tautfest, of Ponca City, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Rosa Cook; son-in-law, Jake Schneberger; five brothers, Sam, Murriel, Donald, Marion and Charles; and two sisters, Vivian Sims and Ruth White. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Russell Murry Hospice, rmhospice.org and to St. Andrews Catholic Church, 800 NW 5th Street, Moore, OK.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 800 NW 5th Street, Moore, OK. Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m. in Okarche, Okla. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
