Needles Dumped — A caller advised Ponca City Police that a bag of hypodermic needles was dumped in the street at the corner of Fourteenth Street and Shirlee. An officer advised the items were picked up for proper disposal.

Vehicle Entered — A resident of the 400 block of North Lake Street reported at 10:14 a.m. Monday that someone was in her vehicle overnight. She declined a report since nothing was taken, but asked Ponca City Police to take the cell phone that was left in the vehicle and see if they could find out who was in the vehicle.

Injury Accident — Ponca City Police took a report on an accident in the 200 block of South Fourteenth Street when a vehicle hit a light pole. Ponca City Fire Department ambulance responded but there was no transport.

Suspicious Man — A guest at a motel in the 300 block of South Fourteenth Street reported at 2:21 and 4:06 a.m. Tuesday that a man kept knocking on the door of his room. An officer stayed in the area to see if the man returned.

Disturbance Reported — Ponca City Police responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of North Oak Street at 11:16 a.m. Monday. An officer followed a vehicle to the Police Department for an interview.

Warrant Request — Ponca City Police took information for a warrant request on a domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor after an incident at 1:01 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of North Stephens.

Burglary Investigation — Ponca City Police took information for a report from a resident of the 500 block of North Birch Street on an auto burglary at 1:40 p.m. Monday.

Road Rage — Ponca City Police took information for a report on a road rage incident at Liberty Avenue and Waverly at 1:52 p.m. Monday.

Burglary Investigation — A truck driver reported his company vehicle was parked in the 300 block of North Third Street at 4:17 p.m. Monday when it was damaged after someone tried to break into it. Nothing was missing. Ponca City Police took information for a report.

Burglary Investigation — A resident of the 700 block of North First Street reported a burglary to a vehicle at 4:45 p.m. Monday. Ponca City Police took information for a report.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 48-year-old man on the front porch of a residence in the 800 block of South Eleventh Street at 4:50 p.m. Monday on a complaint of public intoxication.

Burglary Investigation — A resident on Greenbriar reported at 5:37 p.m. Monday that someone broke into his vehicle and stole several items. Ponca City Police took information for a report.

Campsite Arrest — Kay County deputies arrested a man at McFadden Cove on a warrant on Friday. The man bonded out and then was reported to be harassing the subject at the campsite that turned him in. A deputy responded and reported the rain ran everyone away.

BB Problems — Ponca City Police were advised of a juvenile shooting a BB gun at Dan Moran Park at 6:25 p.m. Monday. The residents were new to Ponca City and an officer advised them to go down by the river to practice.

Girl Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 15-year-old girl in the 700 block of North Pine Street at 9:29 p.m. Monday on a complaint of drunkenness. The Office of Juvenile Affairs was contacted and the girl was released on a promise to appear in court.

Pool Disturbance — Ponca City Police responded to a disturbance at Wentz Pool at 10:08 p.m. Monday with a large rowdy crowd. Officers quieted the situation and moved several people on.

Indecent Exposure — A man and woman were engaging in adult activity at a pool in an apartment complex in the 700 block of Monument at 10:29 p.m. Monday. The caller reporting the couple advised the pool was supposed to be closed and the apartment manager was not available. The manager responded and handled the incident.

Weapon Report — People on bicycles in the 3000 block of North Fourteenth Street reported at 10:51 p.m. Monday that a subject in a white pickup truck flashed a handgun at them. An Osage County Deputy located the truck and a Ponca City Police officer spoke to the owner by phone. The owner was to talk to his stepson and contact the officer.

Extra Patrol — Ponca City Police provided extra patrol in the 2300 block of Woodthrush at 1:01 a.m. Tuesday because of a suspicious car occupied by three females driving through the neighborhood.

Vandalism Reported — A resident of the 1500 block of Richway reported vandalism at 5:59 a.m. Tuesday that occurred overnight. Ponca City Police took information for a report.

Report Taken — The Kay County Sheriff's Department took a report on a pit bull chasing dogs and people on Broadway in Braman at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.

Man Arrested — Blackwell police arrested a man at 2:59 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 29th Street and Ferguson for driving under the influence.

Four Arrests — On Monday Blackwell police arrested an 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy at the intersection of 44th Street and Doolin at 1:03 a.m. on drug and alcohol charges. Another 19 year-old was later arrested for possession of drugs. The group was later transported to the Kay County jail.
