Nunez-Vegar failed to appear for a pre-preliminary hearing June 16.

He is charged with a felony count of child abuse by injury.

According to the police report, he is accused of kicking a 1-year-old baby in the head.

He was arrested by Blackwell police on Jan. 21, 2006.
