Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 26-year-old woman in the 1900 block of Turner Road at 8:35 a.m. Saturday on a complaint of no insurance verification.

Extra Patrol — Ponca City Police were asked at 9:26 a.m. Saturday to provide extra patrol at a dock at Lake Ponca because of ongoing problems with large parties involving underage drinking.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 35-year-old woman at Highland Avenue and Waverly Street at 9:47 a.m. Saturday on a city warrant for public intoxication.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 33-year-old man at Grand Avenue and Osage Street at 9:55 a.m. Saturday on complaints of driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign and improper left turn.

Fraud Report — Ponca City Police took a report on identity theft in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Phone Taken — A woman reported at 10:10 a.m. Saturday that her cell phone was taken in the 3000 block of East Prospect Thursday. Ponca City Police took information for a report.

Mower Stolen — An employee of a store in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue reported a lawn mower stolen at 11:16 a.m. Saturday. Ponca City Police took a report.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 55-year-old man in the 500 block of South Washington Street at 12:06 p.m. Saturday on a Kay County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to pay, five city warrants for failure to pay fines for trespassing and a complaint of obstructing an officer.

Burglary Investigation — A woman at a motel in the 1400 block of East Bradley reported at 12:42 p.m. Saturday that items were stolen from her vehicle. Ponca City Police took information for a report.

Extra Patrol — A store in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue reported at 12:50 p.m. Saturday that juveniles were causing problems in and around the store. Ponca City Police provided extra patrol.

Reckless Driver — A cell 911 caller reported four subjects riding on a four-wheeler at Fifth Street and Prospect Avenue at 1:23 p.m. Saturday. Ponca City Police located the four-wheeler and advised the riders of the city ordinance. The extra passengers were going to walk back to the rodeo grounds.

Injury Accident — A cell 911 caller reported an injury accident at Coon Creek and Tower Road at 1:47 p.m. Saturday. The Kay County Sheriff's Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol were advised; Kildare Volunteer Fire Department was paged out to assist and the Ponca City Fire Department ambulance responded. Air Vac was put on standby and cancelled.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 34-year-old man in the 2000 block of Lake Road at 2:17 p.m. Saturday on complaints of driving under suspension and speeding.

Road Rage — Ponca City Police took information for a warrant request on a road rage incident at A and Whitlock at 3:21 p.m. Saturday.

Wallet Found — A wallet was found in the 400 block of Fairview at 8:51 p.m. Saturday. Ponca City Police returned it to the owner and took a report.

Extra Patrol — A store in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue reported at 4:08 p.m. Saturday that a group of kids was causing problems they could not manage. The staff requested extra heavy patrol from Ponca City Police.

Power Outage — The Communications Center received several calls around 5:30 p.m. Saturday reporting a power outage in the McCord area and parts of east Ponca City.

Burglary Investigation — A man in the 1300 block of East Princeton reported items stolen from his vehicle at 5:33 p.m. Saturday. Ponca City Police took a report.

Accident Report — Ponca City Police took a report on an accident on the 2400 block of North Fourteenth Street at 7:18 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary Investigation — A man at a motel in the 1400 block of East Bradley reported items missing from his vehicle at 7:47 p.m. Saturday. The motel requested extra patrol during the Motocross.

Suspicious Person — A Ponca City Police officer was flagged down by juveniles in the 2400 block of North Fourteenth Street at 7:55 p.m. Saturday who reported they were being followed by someone in a car. The officer took two boys to a hotel and released them to a parent.

Burglary Investigation — A man at a motel in the 1400 block of East Bradley reported at 8:04 p.m. Saturday that there had been three burglaries in the past couple of days. He requested extra patrol.

Power Outage — Several calls reported a power outage in the southeast area of Ponca City after a transformer blew at 8:18 p.m. Saturday.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 51-year-old woman in the 800 block of South Eleventh Street at 9:09 p.m. Saturday on a complaint of drunkenness. Several subjects were on the front porch and were moved along.

Vehicle Cited — Ponca City Police issued a citation for an expired tag on a vehicle which has been parked at Fourth Street and Chestnut for several weeks without being moved. The vehicle was marked at 9:39 a.m. Sunday to be towed if it is not moved in 48 hours.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 27-year-old man in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 10:48 p.m. Saturday on local warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of speeding, no driver's license and no insurance.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 53-year-old man at Redbird and Union Street at 11:06 p.m. Saturday on a Kay County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to pay fines for domestic assault and battery.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 21-year-old man at Elm Street and Highland Avenue at 12:44 a.m. Sunday on a complaint of public intoxication. Officers were called to the area because of a fight involving several people.

Domestic Assault — A woman in the 400 block of North Deer reported she was assaulted by a man at 1:04 a.m. Sunday. The Noble County Sheriff's Office responded.

Juveniles Stopped — A Kay County Sheriff's Office deputy was out with a group of juveniles at Prospect and Woodbury at 1:36 a.m. Sunday. Ponca City Police stood by to assist with juvenile identifications.

Noise Complaint — Ponca City Police responded to a motel in the 200 block of South Fourteenth Street at 2:34 a.m. Sunday for a noise complaint. The subjects by the pool were told to go inside and keep the noise down.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 31-year-old man at Fourth Street and Summit Avenue at 2:56 a.m. Sunday on complaints of driving under suspension and unlawful stopping or standing in the roadway. A caller had reported a vehicle parked with its lights on and the driver appeared to be passed out. After further consideration, the officer released the subject.

Shooting Death — Ponca City Police and the Kay County Sheriff's Office confirmed a man died after he shot himself in a bar in the 3800 block of West North Avenue at 12:27 p.m. Sunday.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 29-year-old man in the 100 block of West Fresno Avenue at 1:08 p.m. Sunday on a local warrant for a dog violation.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 39-year-old woman in the 3500 block of D Street at 2:56 a.m. Sunday on a complaint of assault with a dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary. A woman was assaulted in the 500 block of West Cleveland Avenue. The victim was taken from the lobby of the Ponca City Police Department by Fire Department ambulance for treatment at Ponca City Medical Center. Ponca City Police took a report.

Theft Reported — Ponca City Police took a report on a phone reported stolen in the 700 block of Monument at 7:52 p.m. Sunday.

Burglary Investigation — Ponca City Police responded to a call reporting the front door glass was broken out at a convenience store in the 2900 block of North Union Street at 6:35 a.m. Sunday. An officer took a report.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested an 18-year-old woman at 9:18 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of North Fourth Street on city warrants for failure to pay fines on three counts of driving under suspension, a warrant for failure to pay fines on two counts of no seat belt and a warrant for failure to pay fines for speeding.

Warrant Request — Ponca City Police took information for a warrant request on a 41-year-old man after a woman in the 1000 block of North First Street reported at 1:32 p.m. Sunday that her vehicle was taken earlier from her residence without permission. The vehicle was returned.

Trespass Warning — A resident of the 800 block of South Eleventh Street reported at 1:51 p.m. Sunday that a 49-year-old man was passed out on his front porch. Ponca City Police issued a trespass warning to the man.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 34-year-old woman in the 1700 block of Bradbary at 2:04 p.m. Sunday on a Kay County Sheriff's Office warrant for unpaid child support.

Burglary Investigation — A man in the 200 block of South Elm Street reported at 3:54 p.m. Sunday that three days earlier someone stole some of his prescription medications. Ponca City Police took a report.

Theft Reported — A convenience store in the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue reported the theft of beer at 5:18 p.m. Sunday. Ponca City Police took a report.

Puppy Missing — A resident of the 500 block of North Ninth Street reported a four-week-old female German Shepherd puppy was stolen at 5:23 p.m. Sunday. The owner will make flyers and distribute them around town.

Vandalism Reported — A resident of the 500 block of East Walnut reported at 8:45 p.m. Sunday that her vehicle was vandalized. Ponca City Police took a report.

Fire Run — Ponca City Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 100 block of South Lake Street at 12:12 a.m. Monday. Ponca City Energy was also called out and the Fire Marshal and Ponca City Police responded.

Child Found — A resident of the 500 block of South Thirteenth Street reported a 2-year-old boy was in his back yard at 8:23 a.m. Sunday and he did not know where the child belonged. Prior to an officer's arrival, the child's father called to report the child missing and was told where the child was.

Vandalism Reported — A motel in the 200 block of South Fourteenth Street reported at 12:26 a.m. Monday that juveniles were throwing eggs at the building and vehicles. The subjects were gone on officers' arrival.
