Suspended Sentence

NEWKIRK — Elliott Burnett Eagle, 26, Ponca City, entered a plea of guilty in Kay County District Court to two felony counts of assault and battery upon a police officer.

Eagle was arrested by Ponca City police on May 23 in the 2500 block of Eagle Road.

He was sentenced to a five year suspended sentence in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
