Vandalism Reported — Several residents on the northwest side of Ponca City reported spray paint vandalism Wednesday morning. Ponca City Police took eight reports from residents on Birch, Sunset and Ash Streets and Summit, Highland and Cleveland Avenues, as well as reports for damage to traffic signs.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 42-year-old man in the 600 block of South Fourth Street at 9:01 a.m. Wednesday on a Kay County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to pay and an application to revoke probation for knowingly concealing stolen property.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 21-year-old woman in the 500 block of West Grand Avenue at 11:12 p.m. Wednesday on complaints of no driver's license and no insurance verification.

Trespass Warning — Ponca City Police issued a trespass warning at 12:07 p.m. Wednesday to a customer at a phone store in the 2000 block of North Fourteenth Street after an employee reported the customer threw a phone at her.

Burglary Investigation — Ponca City Police took a burglary report from a resident of the 1400 block of South Thirteenth Street at 12:27 p.m. Wednesday.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 20-year-old woman in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday on a complaint of petit larceny.

Fraud Report — Ponca City Police took a report on fraud at a company in the 2100 block of North Ash Street at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday.

Theft Reported — A motel in the 200 block of South Fourteenth Street reported a theft at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday. Ponca City Police took a report.

Fraud Report — Ponca City Police took a credit card fraud report from a bank in the 200 block of East Grand Avenue at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday.

Burglary Investigation — Ponca City Police took burglary reports from several contractors at the construction site of the Ponca City Aquatic and Family Center — YMCA at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday in connection with a theft that occurred Sunday night.

Juvenile Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 16-year-old girl in the front lobby of the Police Department at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday on a complaint of petit larceny from a business in the 300 block of East Grand Avenue on Feb. 17. She was released on a promise to appear in court. Officers also made a warrant request for a 31-year-old woman.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 31-year-oldman at South Sixth Street and Houston Avenue at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday on complaints of expired registration, no insurance and driving under suspension.

Vandalism Reported — A caller contacted Ponca City Police at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday to report two juveniles were spray painting the back of a business in the 2900 block of North Fourteenth Street. Officers took a report of investigation and took the juveniles back to clean the wall.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 50-year-old man from the Kay County Sheriff's Office at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday on a city warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of petit larceny.

Handy Officer — A resident of the 700 block of South Tenth Street contacted Ponca City Police at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday to advise her son had locked himself in some handcuffs. An officer assisted in unlocking the handcuffs.

Injury Accident — Ponca City Fire Department ambulance responded to a one-vehicle injury accident in the 4600 block of North Pecan Road at 6:23 a.m. Thursday. One person was taken to Ponca City Medical Center.

Girl Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 16-year-old girl at North Fourteenth Street and Hazel Avenue at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday on a complaint of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Woman Arrested — A cell 911 caller contacted Ponca City Police at 8:47 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Sunset Street to report her sister was very intoxicated and was trying to jump out of the vehicle. Officers arrested the 25-year-old woman on a complaint of public intoxication.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 29-year-old man in the 200 block of North Third Street at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday on complaints of assault and battery on an officer, resisting arrest and drunkenness. A report was taken.

Burglary Investigation — An employee of a car lot in the 400 block of South Fourteenth Street reported at 2:55 a.m. Thursday that her pickup was burglarized while she was sleeping. Ponca City Police recovered the missing property.

Burglary Investigation — A donut shop in the 1300 block of North Seventh Street reported the back door was standing open at 3:22 a.m. Thursday. Ponca City Police took a report and evidence. Another store in the shopping center also was broken into and money was taken. Officers took a report on that burglary as well. A door also was kicked in on a vacant business.

Fire Run — Blackwell fire units responded to a report of a house fire at 10:27 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of North Fourth Street.
