Juvenile Cited — Ponca City Police issued a citation to a 15-year-old boy at East Middle School at 9:13 a.m. Thursday after an assault on a 14-year-old boy. The juvenile was released on a promise to appear in juvenile court.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 20-year-old woman in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 12:31 p.m. Thursday on a complaint of petit larceny.

Theft Reported — A resident of the 2300 block of Glenmore Place reported his medications were stolen from a locker at the YMCA at 12:55 p.m. Thursday. Ponca City Police took a report.

Porn Found — A resident of the 1400 block of North Pine Street contacted Ponca City Police at 1:27 p.m. Thursday to report that her daughter was given a box of videos and one of the videos contained child pornography. A Ponca City Police officer picked up the items and put them into evidence. A report was taken.

Fraud Reported — Employees of a store in the 2000 block of North Fourteenth Street reported at 1:39 p.m. Thursday that a woman had attempted to use a food stamp card that was flagged as lost or stolen. She left the store and the employee had the card. Ponca City Police took a report.

Items Found — A man at Lake Ponca reported at 2:21 p.m. Thursday that someone left items including a TV on a dock next to his. He did not know if the items were stolen. A Ponca City Police officer put the items into lost and found.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 38-year-old man at the Probation and Parole office in the 200 block of West Hartford at 3:01 p.m. Thursday on a McCurtain County warrant for probation violation, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance and failure to pay court costs.

Threats Reported — A woman in the 800 block of East Prospect Avenue reported at 3:16 p.m. Thursday that a woman came to her vehicle and made threats. Ponca City Police took a report and provided extra patrol.

Accident Report — Ponca City Police took a report on an accident in the 2400 block of North Fourteenth Street at 4:55 p.m. Thursday.

Accident Report — Ponca City Police took information for a report on an accident at Seventh Street and Grand Avenue at 4:57 p.m. Thursday.

Property Dispute — A man at the Police Department reported at 5:20 p.m. Thursday that he had loaned a TV he was buying from a rental company to his brother, and his brother had pawned it. An officer gave the man options.

Woman Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 24-year-old woman at Park Avenue and Union Street at 5:52 p.m. Thursday on complaints of driving under suspension, no insurance and speeding.

Extra Patrol — Ponca City Police were asked to provide extra patrol on South Perry Street, South Avenue and Grand Avenue at 6:01 p.m. Thursday for a large yellow truck speeding in the area.

Fire Run — Ponca City Fire Department responded to a grass fire three miles south of U.S. Highway 60 on Waverly Street at 6:23 p.m. Thursday. The land owner arrived and advised he was going to let the fire burn out through the trees.

Extra Patrol — A resident asked for extra patrol at Cleveland Avenue and Sunset Street at 6:27 p.m. Thursday for between 2 and 2:30 p.m. The caller said the subjects are members of the girls' soccer team going to practice. The caller said it is an ongoing problem and they don't even slow down for the stop sign.

Assault Reported — Ponca City Police took a report at 6:27 p.m. Thursday on an assault and battery on an officer that occurred in the 200 block of North Third Street on Wednesday.

Windows Shot — A woman asked Ponca City Police to meet her at Eleventh Street and Maple Avenue after four boys shot out the windows on her vehicle at 7:55 p.m. Thursday. The subjects ran and officers took information for a report.

Extra Patrol — A resident of the 1600 block of North Osage Street requested extra patrol at 8:42 p.m. Thursday because of foot traffic in the alley and a vacant house they may be going in and out of.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 20-year-old man at Broadway Avenue and Pine Street at 9:22 p.m. Thursday on complaints of driving under suspension and no insurance.

Vandalism Reported — A resident of the 700 block of South Sixth Street reported at 10:52 p.m. Thursday that her apartment door had been kicked in. Nothing was missing. Ponca City Police took a report on destruction of private property.

Fire Run — Ranch Drive Volunteer Fire Department, Kildare Volunteer Fire Department and Ponca City Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 3400 block of West Hubbard Road at 11:09 p.m. Thursday. Kay Electric was called out to shut off the electric power.

Man Arrested — Ponca City Police arrested a 30-year-old man in the 200 block of North Pine Street on a city warrant for petit larceny at 11:21 p.m. Thursday.

Window Broken — A resident of the 800 block of Miller reported at 3:09 a.m. Friday that a 45-year-old man broke out the picture window of the home and left in a white pickup truck. Ponca City Police contacted the suspect in the 1100 block of South Fifth Street and issued a trespass warning for the address and a warrant request for destruction of private property.

Fire Run — The Bureau of Indian Affairs reported logs on fire at a vacant house near Oakland Road and Waverly Street at 5:34 a.m. Friday. The Ponca City Fire Department advised it was left over from a controlled burn on Thursday. One log that was still burning was extinguished.
