Pleads No Contest

NEWKIRK — Ryan Keith Pippin, 29, Muskogee, pleaded no contest in Kay County District Court to felony counts of receiving proceeds from drug activity, after two or more former felony convictions, and possession of a controlled substance, second offense.

He was arrested Jan. 6, 2006 by Blackwell police.

Pippin was sentenced to 10 years in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections on both counts. However after serving six years the balance is suspended.
